In addition to our outreach to wider audiences, our programs along themed initiatives mix and mingle the aspirations and capabilities of Collaborative Doers young and old.

• STUDENT CHAPTERS
  • Support activities of CARTHA at Berkeley established in 2011 by CARTHA Board Member Ana Vasudevan

• GLOBAL HEALTH THROUGH THE LENS OF WATER^TM
  • Organize thought leadership dialogues to generate integrated curricula on water-related health effects (eventually targeted at medical residents and students interested in global health areas). Designed by CARTHA Ambassadors Devasena Gnanashanmugam and Linda Harrar.

• TECHNOLOGY MANAGERS AND GLOCAL HUMANITARIANISM
  • Interact with organizations (e.g., Rotary Clubs, professional scientific societies such as AAAS) and individuals (scientists and scholars from different disciplines) to connect science, academic research translation, and technology transfer to humanitarianism.
  • Co-organize programs of the Cafe Scientifique-Iowa City Chapter with University of Iowa Physics and Astronomy Professor Vincent Rodgers

• BIRTHING INVENTION-HISTORIANS
  • Gather case studies highlighting why and how timeliness matters in policy-making and resource allocation decisions in very early stages of managing academic innovations and their trajectories.

• EXPERIENTIAL WINTERIMS
  • Sponsor events to support the community of faculty, university students, and public citizens who are participating in Winterim India programs designed by CARTHA Ambassador Raj Rajagopal.

• COLLABORATIVE LITERACIES
  • Foster shared learning and artistic expressions around complex societal challenges across communities (e.g., programs such as The Derek Project designed by Amie Ohlmann.)

• DIASPORA GIVERS
  • Induce cross-cultural fusions in training programs to produce novel philanthropic adaptations, grant-making approaches, and energized donor/grantee interactions.
